Kevin O'Leary, Psy.D.
Dr. O'Leary's primary interests lie in helping patients remove inhibitors to optimal functioning; in other words, unblocking the ability to use one's innate thinking and feeling capacities to achieve all that is possible in life.
Most of these blockages exist unknown to the patient at the start of treatment. Dr. O'Leary combines traditional and contemporary psychoanalytic techniques with cognitive-behavioral methods. The goal of treatment is to reveal and modify problematic thoughts and feelings in order to free one's self from their power. The result is ideally the achievement of increased freedom and symptom-free functioning.
